# PixelSign > PixelSign is an e-signature API. Your app creates envelopes (PDF or HTML documents, signers, and fields) with one multipart request; PixelSign emails signers or you embed signing; you get signed webhooks and download the signed PDFs and certificate. Every organization has a live mode and a test mode with developer tools: simulated signers, magic test addresses, time travel, captured email, local webhook forwarding (`pixelsign listen`), and a dry-run preview of envelope create. - API base URL: https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com - Authentication: `Authorization: Bearer psk_live_…` or `psk_test_…` (keys are created in the dashboard at https://sign.pixelservicing.com) - Every response has `X-Request-Id`; every error has a stable `code` and, for request problems, `errors[]` with JSON paths. To load everything at once, read [llms-full.txt](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/llms-full.txt). ## Guides - [Overview](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/overview.md): What PixelSign is, its concepts (organizations, live and test modes, keys, envelopes), and where everything lives. - [Quickstart](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/quickstart.md): A signed test envelope end to end without a browser: create, simulate signing, receive webhooks, download. - [Building envelopes](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/envelopes.md): PDF and HTML documents, fields and placement, routing, reminders, results, and previewing before you send. - [Embedded signing](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/embedding.md): Signing inside your own app: embed origins, embedUrl, and completion messages. - [Webhooks](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/webhooks.md): Every event, verifying signatures, retries, replay, and receiving webhooks locally. - [Billing](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/billing.md): Prepaid credit: the price of a live envelope, reading your balance and history, and organizations PixelSign doesn’t bill. - [Test mode and developer tools](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/testing.md): Test mode and the developer tools: simulated signers, magic addresses, time travel, captured mail, pixelsign listen, preview. - [Debugging](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/debugging.md): Request ids, stable error codes, common problems, and the request and webhook logs. - [TypeScript client and CLI](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/client.md): The @woto-capital/pixelsign TypeScript client, verifyWebhook, and the pixelsign listen CLI. - [The dashboard](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/dashboard.md): Roles and every dashboard page: keys, settings, team, logs, mailbox. - [AI apps (MCP)](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/ai-apps.md): Connecting AI apps (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code) over MCP: access levels, confirmations, live safeguards, limits, and error codes. - [Going live](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides/going-live.md): The go-live checklist and what to check before switching to a live key. ## Reference - [Everything in one file](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/llms-full.txt): every guide, the API reference overview (rules and formats), every endpoint, error code, and JSON schema - [OpenAPI document](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/openapi.json): machine-readable reference - [Interactive API reference](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs): for people ## Optional - [Guides for people](https://api.sign.pixelservicing.com/docs/guides): the same guides as web pages
